This knife is one of only 5 with this profile, and the only one with this particular set up. The winning buyer recieves a certificate of authenticity with the knife, including all the details and a photo of the knife purchased. Up for bid: One custom made damascus thumb or neck knife. This is my design. Comfortable, functional, and beautiful to look at. Blade type and steel: Random pattern Damascus Steel. This blade was forged in the Snake River Valley of Idaho and is made up of 125 layers of 1095 carbon steel and 15n20 Nickel Steel. The steel is not imported. The blade was crafted to my specifications by blade maker Grand Leavitt. It is heat treated and tempered to a Rockwell 57-58. T is a full exposed tang and false top edge. Blade legnth: 1.5 inches Overall legnth: 3.5 inches Scales: Snakewood, 1/4" mosaic pin Liners: Blue/brass/blue Sheath: The Sheath was made custom for this knife by Ron Ryder of Backroom Leather. The lanyard is Paracord. Construction: Scales are applied with 2.5 ton Devcon Epoxy, hidden epoxy rivets, and the pin. These will not come off under normal use.
