Buttercup color with Brilliant vintage crystal knob and lover's doorknocker! The Lovers A beautiful but functional handmade birdhouse made with antique hardware from my collection 16 ounce copper roof , Pacific Northwest Cedar All my birdhouses are made by my husband and I in the Pacific Northwest and are made to take the elements! This one we designed by using hardware which included a crystal knob, a brass doorknocker I found in my travels which has lover's kissing when down and apart when you lift the knocker, large heart on top. The look in the garden is outstanding and the crystal knob works as a perch! My personal birdhouses with the knobs have been in my garden for over 15 years and still have the brilliance they had when I first put them out. I sell these to collectors as well as birders. Painted a bright buttercup yellow with exterior Parker Paints, the copper roof is unsealed and will patina over time, a hanger built into the roof for hanging on a bracket, eye-hook or other (bracket in photo is not included). The home itself stands 21 inches high has a nesting bottom of 6 inches. Every home I build is specific to the songbird. Most of my own are usually occupied by the Chickadee, nuthatch and house finch. You can look at my review and get ideas on how to attract different cavity seeking songbirds. Easy screw out back, read more
