Hand made bit by long time Wynona, Oklahoma maker John Israel. 4 3/4" cheek, 4 7/8" hollow bar mouth. Big silver piece on hinge and three silver stripes on shanks. Looks like sterling. Has that "white" look and was tarnished black before I polished it. Marked " 12 94 JD (connected) ISRAEL " on the mouth. Not bent, broken or repaired. I have never seen a silver mounted Israel bit but the man I got this from claimed he ordered it this way from John. Isreal has been making bits since the 60's. They are not the prettiest in the world but are highly sought after by the cutting horse people because they ride right. NO RESERVE! Money order ships next day..checks must clear..$5 priority shipping. THANKS for looking..see my other auctions for more cowboy gear.
