You're looking at a beautiful 2'5"x 10'4" Qashqai rug. Scattered across its sturdy surface, thousands of small flowers delight the eye, complimenting the rug's red and navy blue color palate. Large floral-like medallions run the center of the rug, accented with robin's egg blue and white gold. The central rectangle is surrounded by three floral borders. An exciting rug, with a very vivid color palate.
Handwoven in Southwestern Iran. Created with soft and durable, 100% wool pile, with over 50 knots per square inch. It is in excellent condition, and has suffered no repairs or damage in its lifetime. The rug's thick wool surface color has been hand-dyed using traditional pigments, and its colors have aged to a beautiful permanence that will suffer no fade. This carpet is absolutely clean and ready for use in your home. This padding is an organic, cork- based product designed especially for use with high quality, hand made rugs.
