GORGEOUS Handpainted Antique Green Moriage Japanese Saki Set - 1920s

Offered is a GORGEOUS Antique Green Moriage Japanese Saki Set from the 1920s. According to that has an exhausted lsiting of these marks, this mark is from items created between 1926 and 1929. The item is a Saki set that is a barrel and 4 Saki cups. The barrel has a gold elephant stopper on the top and a wooden spiggot for releasing the Saki. This incredible piece is a bright green with intricate moriage work on the barrel and cups that shows a beautiful Japanese Pagoda surrounded by trees and birds. It is edged in gold and the mark on the bottom says "Hand Painted". It has NO chips, cracks or repairs and has only some wear on the gold edge of the cups and the stopper. Otherwise it is in incredible shape for its age.

The barrel is 6.50" long X 7.50" tall not including the stopper and 4" in diameter wide. The cups are 1.50" in diameter and 2" tall.
