Lovely Handpainted Soft Pastel Rose Floral Pattern Cup/Saucer Plates 4 piece set : Hutschenreuther Selb Bavaria Signed by artist H Lougren Cup saucer measures 5 ¾ “ inch across - rim is trimmed with gold rim Bottom marked : JHR Hutschenreuther Selb Bavaria - this company mark was used from 1857 to 1920 : Artist signed H Lougren Cup measures: 2 ½” inches tall x 2 ¾” inch across top opening- it has a gold handle and rim. Bottom signed: H Lougren Medium saucer measures: 6 ¼” inches -rim is trimmed with a gold Bottom marked: Thomas Sevres Bavaria - This mark was Used between 1908 and 1939 : Artist signed H Lougren Lunch plate measures; 7 ¾” inches across - trimmed with gold rim Bottom marked: Thomas “Sevres” Bavaria - This mark was Used between 1908 and 1939 : Artist signed: H Lougren Set preowned vintage condition: very good - no cracks, no chips, A little history on the company: The Hutschenreuther company was founded in 1814 by Carolus Magnus Hutschenreuther (1794-1845) in Hohenberg an der Eger , Bavaria , Germany . He had previously worked at the Wallendorf porcelain manufactory in Lichte (Wallendorf) . After his death in 1845, the factory was headed by his widow, Johanna Hutschenreuther, and her two sons.
