THE MOST GORGEOUS ROSES!!!! This is an antique handpainted Victorian Limoges display charger with ballet pink (peachy pink) cabbage ROSES. The roses are masterfully painted. This piece could be a focal point of any display! The edges are gilded and the gilding is fully intact! This must have always been a treasured and cherished display only piece. It is marked with the Haviland Limoges France Mark 12. This mark dates it 1894 to 1931. Size: 9 1/8" Condition: EXCELLENT original. No chips or cracks. Remember this helpful hint~ Limoges is hard paste porcelain. It does not ever craze, that is one of the reasons why it is so valueable. So if you ever see a Limoges piece listed as having crazing, it is either not Limoges or it has a spider crack.I try to only show other pieces in the background that will be coming available or currently listed. If you love Limoges, please see my "ME" page and "sellers other auctions" for more hand painted Limoges and Bavaria beauties!
