This auction presents a stunning hand painted Japanese-Nippon cup and suacer set dating from the early 1920's. T are no chips or cracks and the condition of the gold painting is exceptional. The painting is above average and the tonal values of the red-orange and green is very pleasing. The cup measures 2 1/2" tall and is 3 3/4" in diameter and the saucer is 5 1/2" in diameter with very minimal gold wear in one small spot.
