Lovely handpainted blue and pink Roses~~lots of gold details. This pretty antique Nippon Hostess serving plate dates from the early 1900s. Clear markings on the bottom. It was advertised as a Hostess Plate. Used for serving shrimp and cocktail sauce, chips and dips or salad and crackers....... Measures 9" across the bottom and bowl on top measures 4.5" across x .5" tall. No damage. No chips, cracks or dings. Normal gold edge wear~~very minimal.
