AN EXQUISITE DISPLAY!!!! This is a STUNNING antique handpainted Limoges Chocolate set with pink roses and Victorian scrollwork painted all around each piece . The set has the ruffle footed chocolate pot, the master cake plate (handled charger) and 2 sets of ruffle footed cups and saucers. The background colors are cream and various shades of light green.The original molds have much raised detail. The set is completely hand painted (not mixtion). The gilded areas at the edges are almost completely intact! I think this set must have always been a treasured display only set! The pot, cups and saucers are marked with the Haviland France Limoges Mark 12, this dates 1894 to 1931. The master cake plate is marked with the Pouyat Limoges France Mark 7 which dates 1891 to 1932. Sizes: Demitasse pot~ 10 1/2" tallCups~ 3"Saucers~ 5" Master Cake~ 11 3/4" handle to handle Condition: All excellent original with the exception of one cup which has a tiny edge nip that hides very well, right above the handle. PLEASE NOTE: I just found another cup and saucer set that came with this set. I will listed it separately and inexpensively later today. Remember this helpful hint~ Limoges is hard paste porcelain.
