It is marked on the reverse for identification: Birmingham, lion passant, year date company mark. It is composed of a heart pad lock on top of a skeleton key along with a vine and leaf...maybe some golden work on this piece or maybe it's just tarnish. It measures 2 1/8" long 1" wide x 1/4+" front to back including the barrel pinstem and rollover safety and weighs 6g on a digital scale prior to packing. Sourced from a private collection and fresh to the eBay market place. Please review images for your take on age, design and condition.
