Handsome studio bust view portrait of a Wild West show performer. Subject with long hair and handlebar moustache depicted wearing fringed buckskins, beaded vest and carrying a Remington 1875 single action revolver. Photographer`s label at bottom reading: Jac Maul/Chicago. Reverse side with printed label reading: Jacob Maul`s Studio/439 Milwaukee Ave./Chicago/Ills. Also bearing the seal of the Chicago Photographic Society Award Winner for the May, 1889 Centennial Exhibition. Back also with inked inscriptions reading: O Mahan Charles and A.E. Welsh. This photo was once the property of Anna Welsh, William F. Cody`s neice. 2000 - 3000
