The week before Hanson began recording their 6th studio album Anthem they settled down in a house outside of El Paso Texas to finish writing and begin preproduction for a new album. Each day after working through records, temps, lyrics, and even rewriting whole sections of songs, the band would sit down and demo each song as reference for the final album version. These recordings are now known as The Condor Sessions.The Condor Sessions 11 track demo cd and journal, with daily entries from Zac, were sold in extremely limited quantities and only for a short time in 2013 as a part of Anthems exclusive Gold and Platinum packages.The cd features early demo recordings of 7 songs that would ultimately be featured on Anthem. It also includes 4 songs that did not. The final studio recordings of Get So Low, Nothing On Me, and All I Ever Needed would eventually be released digitally with the sale of their "Icon" book.
