This Auction includes 2 Happy Trails Teton model aluminum saddle bag panniers. These toured more than 15,000 mile with from Canada to Mexico and all throughout the western US. they show some signs of wear but are full waterproof and ready for many more years of hard use. In fact I'd never sell them except my trusty '08 KLR 650 was Stolen and all I have left are these boxes which happen to be off when the thieves struck. These boxes are 18" long, 15" tall and 9" wide and fit perfectly everything I needed for camping and living on the road for months at a time. You could certainly find more expensive boxes, larger boxes, or smaller boxes, but in my experience this size pannier represents the perfect compromise in volume without being too large for safe riding and excessive wind resistance. The outside of each box has 8 or 9 stickers I acquired during my travels but If you want them off they will easily remove by hand or else with a blowdryer and a blade or some sort. The auction includes the mounting hardware as well. The Happy Trail boxes retail for $250 each, and comparable models from Toratech and others retail for upwards of $675 each!
