MARX ** Early Hard to find ** 550 CRANE on Round End black base with TRACK CLIPS (not on later versions) Round End base limited to 1-1/2 years of production, getting harder to find. Early example with flat (edges not rolled) roof. This is a rare car! Its a great addition for any collector.Great gift.Generally good to very good, used condition.Many small nicks and scratches, and weathering (especially on base) but still very presentable.The Boom is in better condition than most cranes, but missing the hook. (replacement readily available).No distracting rust on the main parts of the car. Surface rust on wheels and axles. Same condition all around.Metal Wheels and Tab & Slot Couplers.Has all 4 track clips that pull down from under the base to stablize the car on the track.Has crank with string, and break lever.I have other round end cars available for sale around $8-12 each.
