Up for your consideration is a wonderful example of the hard to find standing clown sulphide, exceptionally well painted and executed by Bob And Maude St. Clair in 1975. The clown stands dead center and perfectly upright on a very finely mixed robins egg blue and white frit eight cushion base with the cushions perfectly formed with a small bubble between each. The sulphide's painting matches very nicely with the colors of the cushion base. It's base measures 2 & 1/4 inches wide and is smoothly ground with a 1/4 inch ring around its stamp, which is well done and easily read. Overall, the weight is larger than most, measuring a hefty 3 & 3/4 inches tall by 3 inches wide. There is no damage of any kind to the weight and it comes from a smoke free home. The weight is being offered priced to sell with no reserve! P.S. - There are no lines in the glass as there may appear to be in different areas of some of the pictures. These are merely the reflection of the lines between the sheets of 8 by 10 printer paper that I sit the weights on to take their pictures! One day soon I'll invest in some ultra-white poster board! The winning bidder is responsible for the flat rate fee that the USPS charges for 2 - 3 day Priority Mailing necessary to get it to their location and is extended a 7 day money back guarantee but is responsible for its return read more
