Pretty mid 1950's hard plastic walking Cosmopolitan Ginger doll. Ginger is wearing her tagged lounging outfit tagged Fashions for "Ginger" Cosmopolitan Doll & Toy Corp. Richmond Hill N. Y. Trade Mark The outfit is still quite nice and has original elastic not yet stretched. Ginger walks quite well, not perfect but she makes a very good effort, more so with one leg than the other. I think her hair is saran although I don't know the difference between saran and dynel. I do know it is not mohair. It is partially glued down in a wave formation around her face. There is a stitch part on the top side and it flows down in to a flip style and I put a pink satinribbon in it because the flip was not even and part of it is straight as you may see in the back. I thought it looked nice that way. I added a blue satin ribbon for a robe tie. Gingers big blue eyes prefer to stay open but you can manually close them. She has a couple of light marks on her face, one which looks like it is from that telltale band that many dolls get from being stored in the boxes for so long with a band around their face. She has no breaks or splits to her body and it is a nice even toned color. If you have any questions important to you on anything else about her please ask as she is a final sale.
