Harding Black A Texas Treasure --- Master of Glazes --- (1912 - 2004) Black was a well known self taught ceramic artist. Best known for his developement of signature glazes. His career spanned over sixty years most of which he oversaw his own studio in San Antonio Texas . Many of his pieces are in museums around the world . Ox Blood Red dripping to purple then to aqua blue Dish 2" high, 7 1/2" d. at the rim and 3 1/8" d. at the base. Signed on the bottom, " Harding Black 1956" Excellent Condition (very very light surfaces scratches to the the middle of the bowl)
