The Silver Thunder II is quite an outstanding and rare, heavy duty German folding knife Liscensed, by Harley Davidson in 1999. The knife is new in the Aluminium Case shown which may have a different color interior than the one in the photo. While many other dealers removed the knife from the case and sold it separtely, we did not. Highly prised by Harley riders through out Europe, this knife was quite rare in the USA. The knife has a 440-SS blade which has been sand blasted to acheive a matt finish, and then Cryohardened at -300deg's. This process allows the blade to retain its sharpness far longer than that a standard knife blade. The sides of the knife are Black Anidized Aircraft Aluminium and have a matt finish which gives a good grip in all weather conditions. The Knife has a liner lock, and the blade can be opened from the left or right with the thumb knob. In addition, natural materials as well as mother of pearl, may have slight imperfections. Any advanced collector knows this, and you should too. 4.
