Harley Davidson XR 750 diecast model xr750 dirt tracker racer Up for sale is a super rare die cast model (1/10 scale) of the legendary 1972 XR 750 dirt tracker “alloy” racer. This model is very, very hard to come by and very cool. It is no longer available for purchase new and I rarely see them ever come up for sale. The item includes a Harley certificate of authenticity and comes in the box and with all the packing materials and wrapping. It is missing the little stand that came with these, but it is otherwise perfect. Since I left it in the box, it just stayed in my collection and not having stand didn’t matter. This die-cast 1:10 scale motorcycle honors the 1972 XR750, a bike which consisted of a modified 1970 Sporty motor fitted with alloy barrels & heads. It was an instant success on the race track. In 1972 HD factory racer Mark Brelsford campaigned his alloy XR in 15 AMA dirt-track flat track races, winning three, and finishing in the top five 11 times. By the end of the series, Brelsford had clinched the Grand National Championship. That is what this model celebrates. The model features working suspension, drive chain, hand brakes/clutch and stand.
