You are bidding on what I believe to be as a Harmon Railroad Traffic Crossing Signal Light Red Lens Selling for parts, as shown The light was recently obtained from a estate sale, shows well cared for, exact age is unknown, but believe from the 1960's 70's era, has label for shield mounting on the inside and is dated 1970, and handed written date is 6-19-73I believe this is a railroad traffic signal stop light, and was removed from the MO PAC Missouri Pacific Lines railroad systems .This light is sold for parts , t is the aluminum housing, the red lens, and the internal light reflector.The housing is made of aluminum and is embossed on the sides Harmon Electronics , The light has the red plastic lens embossed General Signal Inc. 8 3/8" # 6440The light has two round side glass openings, one on each side the glass lens are missing . The outer black shield is missing.The inside light reflector has several stain spots , and is loose in housing the holding clips are missing.The electrical wiring, bulbs etc are all missing.The light is 11" in dim., and 6 1/2" thick, and has what appears to be as a 1 5/8" dim. threaded coupling on top for mounting and weighs approx. 12 lbs 10 ozs.The light is sold for parts, as with the vintage of the light, t is some normal wear, some paint chipping and peeling, a few dings and dents, all as noted from read more
