Build your own clone - Harmonic Percolator kit. EVERTHING you need to do the insides, including the jack sockets and potentiometers. ***I'm waiting for more 1N695 to arrive - only 1N60P in right now*** I can't guarantee you'll nail that Steve Albini ear-punishing tone, but it's a step in the right direction. Kit contains: 2 x 16mm carbon track potentiometers 6 x resistors 2 x ceramic capacitors 1 x mylar 'green cap' capacitor 1 x tantalum capacitor 1 x 2N3565 transistor 1 x 2N404 transistor 2 x diodes 1 x high quality rigid battery snap 1 x 2.1mm DC power socket 1 x high quality mono jack socket 1 x high quality stereo jack socket 1 x professionally fabricated PCB or vero board (cut to size, track breaks made where needed) 3 x lengths of 22AWG hook-up wire (black, red, green) 1 x 3PDT footswitch 1 x tri-colour LED 1 x DPDT toggle switch Couple of choices for you to make..... which diodes you want (either 1N60 or 1N695 for an extra quid fifty. they aren't particularly better, they just cost me more to source), and what gain you want your germanium tranny to be (131-150, 151-180, 181-200).
