This is an original invitation from Famous Movie Star Harold Lloyd. The Invitation reads: Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lloyd cordially invite you to attend the Womens Invitational Golf Tournament to be held at The Harold Lloyd Golf Course on Friday, the seventeenth of October nineteen hundred and thirty at three P.M. Bendedict Canyon, Beverly Hills Admission by Card only This is a great find! It comes from a golf scrapbook that belonged to Mrs J.W Procter of Oakland California. Mrs Proctor was an accomplished womens golfer who competed for many years across the U.S in the 20's and 30's. This auction includes with the invitation a temporary score card for the Harold Lloyd Golf Course. It appears however that Mrs Procter could not attend as the score card is blank. Nonetheless the entire scrapbook is filled with clippings and scorecards of Mrs Procters accomplishments and the winning bidder is welcome to the entire book! This would make an extrodinary addition to a Harold Lloyd Fan's collection or as vintage sporting memorabilia. The invitation itself measure's approx 4x5.5 inches and is in wonderful condition. The scan makes it appear far browner than it really is. In reality t is only slight browning to the top of the invitation. The invitation is perfect for framing or whatever you wish!
