One of the great representations of the mid 19th century This is an edition you can get lost in, with topics covering the full range of history and art, politics and the Civil War Amazing collection of art and writing, 1st edition Anthony Trollope, Samuel Morse (Morse Code) US Navy, Secession from the Union, and so much more, so many articles, fashion, history, American life etc. produced during the Civil War Era, Harper's Magazine bound leather edition Dec. 1861- May 1862 Some leather wear at corners, and spine hinge, tight and clean. Very Handsome edition, and very rare at this vintage and presentation as well as condition. This is perhaps one of the great journals of an era that is more than 150 years old in incredible condition for vintage. America was not even a hundred years old when this was published. 7 x 10 and two inches thick, incredible! Iam FINALLY going through a FAMILY ESTATE! There are THOUSANDS OF BOOKS!! Antique..
