Harper's Weekly - 1 Baseball & 2 Cricket Set - All Original - No Reserve
1st Picture Date: August 22, 1885, Page 549 Reads: "The Winning Run--'How Is It Umpire?'" This is a very nice full page illustration showing the winning run sliding into home plate just missing the tag. Drawn by T. De Thulstrup. Thulstrup has signed his name in the bottom right corner of the drawing. 2nd Picture Date: November 1, 1879, Page 865 Reads: "The International Cricket Match At Philadelphia" This is a nice piece showing an International match played in our home country. Drawn by S.G. McCutcheon 3rd Picture Date: September 25, 1886, Page 625 Reads: "International Cricket Match On The Ground Of The Germantown Club At Nicetown, Pennsylvania" Another beautiful full page drawing of a match at the Germantown Club. Drawn by W.P. Snyder and signed in the bottom right corner. All of 3 these pages are standard Harper's Weekly pages: Approximately 11"H x 16"W.
