Up for sale are 4 bound editions of Harper's Weekly. Bound book # 1 is January 18, 1896 through June27, 1896. Bound book #2 is July 3,1897 through December 25, 1897, Bound Book #3 is January 1, 1898 through June 18, 1898 and Bound Book is July 1, 1899 through December 30, 1899. I acquired them about 5 years ago as I was fascinated by the history, advertisements, and that at the time was THE source of news. They are bound in lightweight covers and strung binding., not glued. These were very well read and in rough condition. If you are a collector of perfect historical publications, you probably are not interested in these. T are missing pages, ( obviously the original owner tore out pages to frame or to keep, much like we do today with our newspapers). However , they are quite interesting . I believe someone would like to add them to their collection and am putting a price on them , however I will accept a reasonable offer. Paypal only. And shipping is extra. These are heavy , I would estimate that each of the 4 books weighs over 8 lbs. Please ask questions before bidding and I am honest so I will again tell you that these are very used, some pages have yellowed through the years and some pages are torn.
