Rare out of print HE Harris Worldwide Citation Stamp Album in 2 volumes. This album originally was sold as the largest single volume worldwide stamp album. As collectors added supplements, they would frequently expand into a second volume. This was second only to the standard album which came in 2 volumes, but each of those volumes is smaller than the Citation. Now the largest album published by Harris is the Statesman in 2 volumes.
These older out of print albums are cherished by collectors for the completeness of the years covered as well as the older stamps contained within. This album has stamps neatly mounted. Most appear to be hinged, but there are a few scattered hingeless mounts. Pages appear to be complete and binders are in great shape. Some toning on the page edges, but otherwise, a very nice set of albums.
I will include (in addition to the stamps already mounted in the album, 2,000 stamps that can be added to the album. I will include several stamps that catalog over 1.00 each. I had this listed last week and the auction ended, after which 4 people contacted me to buy this. I have relisted it. If you want it, I can work with you on the price. I will be listed other stamp albums this week as well as I'm cleaning up and selling off a lot of duplicates and older stamp albums and stamps. This is the best album that I'll be selling, although I'll be listing a Scott International Volume V and a Minkus All - American both containing lots of stamps. This album (CITATION) also has stamps in it. I don't know how many as I haven't counted them. I'm guessing a few thousand. I also made shipping FREE. These will ship via priority Mail.
