Hello, I'm Dan Harrison and I've been making Custom Knives for more than 50 years. For the past 30 years I've sold my knives, swords and axes at my shop in Edom, Texas and at museum and other juried art shows. During this time I was fortunate to win three national and international awards for knife design while designing and making collector's series knives and hunting knives for world renown knife companies including Kershaw, Ka-Bar, Browning and others. I freehand grind my blades from raw stock and heat treat them in my shop for better control of the process. Full and fast refund if you are not 100% pleased with my work.Please allow 6-8 months for a custom piece made to your specification, but you can bid on my 9" SUB-HILT FIGHTING BOWIE right now. This BOWIE has a 9" X 1 7/8 hollow ground blade of D-2 tool steel which is the steel that is used for making punch press dies. This fighter, which measures 14" overall, has a COCOBOLA handle with brass guard pommel and sub-hilt. The BLADE IS RECESSED INTO GUARD FOR STREINGTH. It has a handstitched, heavy leather sheath by Carol Harrison that has a antique brown finish. T is a $12.50 priority mail shipping charge including insurance.
