Not bookclub, Not the Australian edition, Not the Ted Smart edition, Not the Canadian edition, Not ex-library, but the scarce true first edition, first printing Bloomsbury edition with the complete number line of 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1. Copies of this title unsigned, are extremely scarce, with few even available for sale. (Please note that first edition softcovers in near fine condition typically sell for in excess of $5000 (and up). Books in poor condition are in the $2500 range). Wendy Cooling review is present to the base of the front board. And the publisher page credits Joanne Rowling and contains no space between “r” and “1″ on Thomas Taylor 1997 in error. This listing is for a nice, very good plus condition softcover which still maintains stunning color to the external wraps which otherwise are more typically found with fading to the spine colors. The book has several minor flaws which account for the price adjustment in what otherwise would be a $5000 plus book.
