The FARM WAGON JUNIOR was an exact reproduction of the regular size farm wagon. These FARM WAGON'S were advertised as a versatile wagon in that kids could remove the seat, the dash and tailboard and the sides to create a different wagon to play with (see picture). From 1910 to 1920 the HARVARD FARM WAGON, as shown in the 1914 Sears Catalog picture below, became the most popular to buy. During the 1920's and 30's the STUDEBAKER JUNIOR was the outstanding seller as it was advertised in the SEARS catalog. It was made by The Studebaker Corporation in South Bend, Ind. You can purchase an Amish replica of the STUDEBAKER JUNIOR for $995 through LAHMAN'S HARDWARE in Kidron, Ohio ( ). Wheels and hardware kits can be purchased separately. The plans include six 30" x 36" blueprint sheets which include: (1) Overview of Wagon Body; (2) Wagon Seat & Tailgate; (3) Undercarriage & Hounds; (4) Undercarriage; (5) Wheels; (6) Wheel Blank with Router Jig, Handle, & Paint Chart. The Body Size is 13"H x 18"W x 40"L. The Wheel Size: Front 14" Dia/Rear 20" Dia. These plans were drawn by Gary Mace of The American Coaster Co. The plans are drawn with the wood worker in mind to be easy to read and answer questions before they are asked.
