Harvin/Virginia Metalcrafters Trivet Set Available for auction is a lovely 2 piece brass trivet set. The trivet set is called the “Leaf and Vine” trivets and come in two half oval pieces for practical service. They are style number 3803 and were manufactured by either the Harvin Company of Maryland or Virginia Metalcrafters of Virginia. VM bought Harvin in the early 1950’s and continued to produce their lines with the Harvin logo in the forms. The brass trivets are made of heavy sand cast brass. Each trivet measures 8 1/4 inches by 4 ½ inches. They are in great condition for its age with very little wear to them. The Harvin logo along with the style number is embedded in the bottom of the each trivet. We are known as The Biggs Company. We sell used colonial reproduction pieces from well known makers such as Biggs, Norris, Kittinger, Baker, Henkel Harris, Suters, and Stickley along with Colonial Williamsburg furniture. We also sell such items as rugs from Karastan, and brass from Virginia Metalcrafters. We sell only on line and list at the lowest possible price to move the item. We have no showroom but if you are in the Richmond area you can come and see the items that are listed at the current time. We can deliver to certain areas for a small fee.
