This felt hat with Eddie embroided on it and the pins that are attached come from a local estate. Everything is as I found them--I have not removed any pins or tried to clean them up. Most of the comic pins came from Kellogg's Pepe Cereal as premiums. Kellogg Pep is written inside each one. I would estimate that these are from the 1940's or so. On top of the hat is a pin that says I'm A Cisco Kid Fan, another has Tom Mix of Radio, Curley Bradley. T is a vintage Erin Go Braugh pin with ribbons and an National Audobon Society pin. Also t is a brass service pin that has U S embossed on it. Going around the brim are pins of Casper, Mama Katzenjammer, Chester Gump, Superman, Spud, Cindy, Min Gump, Popeye, Spud, Moon Mullins, Spud, Uncle Walt, Herby, Punjab, Vitamin Flintheart, Dick Tracy, Nina, Winnie's Twins, Shadow, Moon Mullins, Uncle Walt, Pat Patten, Toots, Spud, Casper, Junior Tracy--all of these are Kellogg Pep pins. T are 2 others on the brim--70th Bombardment Squadron and 99th Bombardment Squadron. I have put a reserve of $35.00 on this lot. If it can not reach that level, I will keep them.
