Due to the clay that Blue Ridge was made out of it chipped easily and pieces that are not chipped are VERY hard to find. This one is perfect! Blue Ridge was all hand made and is considered folk art primitive pottery. It was decorated by women and each woman only done ONE decoration and one color per day. So this piece would have been decorated by six different ladies and that was to get this one simple pattern painted! My how times have changed! Sure to spice up any room and would look fantastic in any country setting. Came from a good ol' southern estate in Franklin NC. Measurements: 5" tall. Genre: Southern Potteries Blue Ridge. Condition: Excellent, no restorations or damage!! Another Divine Dixie Find From The Bric-A-Brac-Baron! Good Luck! ~~~ Note: I am in the process of selling out an estate of a retired Clemson University Professor so I have some very unique read more
