Custom knifemaker Roger Hatt is equally skilled whether he is building solid fixed blades or high style linerlocks like this one, his newest just received from the Hatt shop. This stunning very sleek folder starts with a 3-1/2" blade of Damasteel stainless damascus that is polished then acid etched and is mounted with a turned fileworked damascus thumbstud inset with a ruby. Bolsters of Ferguson blued twisted nickel damascus are mounted front and rear on the gracefully tapered handle. Set between their curved radius are handle scales of creamy-tan Wooly Mammoth ivory. The liners are half-hard stainless, heat bronzed and beautifully chased with Roger's fine serpentine filework. In contrast the full backspacer is crafted from Thunderforged nickel damascus with rich deep coloring.The interior is scribed "Hatt 2007". Overall this classy folder measures 8-1/4".
