This signed Hattie Carnegie bracelet has a very modern feel at the same time it has a rugged earthiness. Earth and space come together in this piece which is for sure an attention getter in its elegant high fashion look. The faux silver nugget face is a great contrast to the sleek high-design of inlaid red enamels. The chrome band is slightly elliptical and measures 2+3/8ths at its widest , and 2+1/8th at the other end. But it could be bent into a circle which would make it more of a 2+2/8th (2+1/4) circumference. And with the open slots ateither end of the face, a wider silver band could easily be fashionedto fit this, and make this piece more masculine if desired. So any size would be workable with this piece!
T are two small chips on the chrome plating but the enamel is perfect . In the second picture of the bracelet you can see them. The picture is a blown-up image and is lit to exaggerate these, but in real life these minor flaws are not that noticeable. A completely interesting feel with its raw-metal nugget texture but aerodynamic space-age, deco, even jungle-y lines!!! The band is tapered at both ends giving it a lighter feel, so this piece is not a heavy look. Wear it as a striking piece with a sleek outfit, or with casual wear that needs an "oomph"!
