The practicalities of providing a scan of the ACTUAL COPY offered for sale would drastically reduce the range of comics we are able to offer through EBay. For this reason the attached scan is taken from the library of back issue cover scans we’ve accumulated over the last quarter of a century of selling comics. It is NOT a scan of the ACTUAL COPY offered for sale here and is shown for reference purposes only . Please note however that every comic IS individually and accurately graded. Please see the grade details above to insure that this particular comic is in the condition you require. Mint Comics? We do not list ANY comics as Mint condition. In our view this grade does not exist. Comic books are mass produced paper items, handled many times often with little care before even reaching the shop or newsstand to be offered for sale. EVERY COMIC even a brand new one will have some form of minor defect if you get out a magnifying glass and look closely enough. If you are intent on finding comic book perfection, or CGC guaranteed results, please do not bid. Grading Information It is an unfortunate truth that the established back issue grading system is misleading to new comers. Both ‘Good’ & ‘Fair’ are low grades. For this reason we have provided the chart below. If you are unsure what to expect from grades like VFN+ and G-, just refer to the chart. All you need to remember is that 100% is brand new while 5% has been through the washing machine. Everything else comes in steps between. The best way to use this chart is to think of it as top middle and bottom. This enables even a layman to visualise the condition of the comic. Top – High grade collectable items Near Mint (NM) = 100% Very Fine Plus (VFN+) = 90% Very Fine (VFN) = 80% Very Fine Minus (VFN-) = 75% Fine Plus (FN+) = 70% Middle – Minor damage & wear apparent but still sound comics Fine (FN) = 65% Fine Minus (FN-) = 55% Very Good Plus (VG+) = 50% Very Good (VG) = 40% Very Good Minus (VG-) = 30% Bottom – Beaten damaged worn and abused comics Good Plus (G+) = 25% Good (G) = 20% Good Minus (G-) = 15% Fair (Fair) = 10% Poor (Poor) = 5% Combined overseas postage rates: Our standard Overseas postage rate is £2.95 for the first item then an extra 75p for each following item up to a maximum £19.95.
