Up for auction is a Johann Haviland Blue Garland Dinner Bell, marked Bavaria, Germany . This bell is New In it's Original Box. NIB This Dinner Bell would make a wonderful addition to any Bell collection; or, it would make a most thoughtful gift for that "SPECIAL" friend.What appears to be a dark ring on the inside of the bell, is actually a reflection from the flash.This is part of a service for 12.The Blue Garland pattern was discontinued in 1990"Blue Garland" by Johann Haviland is a graceful pattern that is accented by a delicate yet simple pale blue floral garland pattern with a small blue rosebud design in subtle shades of cadet blue and gray, with gray leaves and vines. T is a glistening hand painted platinum trim that decorates each edge and traces the curves of the handles. This pattern has remained extremely popular since its inception. The elegantly sculpted porcelain body and floral motif are reminiscent of earlier traditional Victorian dinnerware manufactured by Haviland in France.This set is in the Pompadour shape. They have the Green Johann Haviland Bavaria Germany back stamp.All in excellent NIB shape. Some of the boxes have faded and warped but all of the china is new except for one service for four, which was used just one time.They are in their original boxes.This pattern is very pretty, clean, yet formal, and would be an elegant addition for your holiday gatherings for family and friends.Originally purchased for a hope chest, each piece was individually inspected at the time of purchase. They have remained in storage for over twenty-five years and now need a new home and to be put to use.I have for auction a complete table service for 12 plus many of the accessories.This is the season to set your table with this pretty, clean, yet formal pattern.The weights listed are the actual weights of the individual pieces in their original boxes. The only weight that is estimated is the Boxes of Service for 4 , a bathroom scale was used for the estimate. T will be additional weight when the items are boxed up for shipment. Because many buyers tend to purchase more than one item when t is a lot as large as I'm listing, it didn't make sense for me to box each item individually, only to have to unwrap them and re-box them, as has happened in the past. If you are trying to bid on several items, please ask for an estimate of the weight for the multiple items, and the packing materials needed to safely pack them into one box for shipment. On the larger items, I will have to purchase boxes to fit the items.
