Offered for auction is ONE Haviland Limoges Bread and Butter Plates in Schleiger 55-L, a popular variant of Drop Rose. This version employs Blank 2/13 with a double gold edge, the inner one being brushed. The roses are a rather deep pink. The bread and butter plate measures about 6 1/4" in diameter . The plate is in GREAT condition with no chips or cracks and the gold is in great shape showing little wear. The backmarks are the green whiteware mark Haviland France and a brick red decorator mark Haviland & Co. Limoges retailer through Indianapolis, Indiana retailer Charles Mayer & Company.
