Haviland Limoges is famous for being considered the worlds finest Limoges dinnerware. Limoges porcelain has a translucency and durability that has made it prized by kings and presidents for over 150 years This is a beautiful set in near mint condition. Heavily gold embossed on handles and gold on rim trim is complete with no visible wear. The pattern number is 33560, I have not identified a name for this pattern, however as you can see from the pictures, the decoration appears as l beaded bordered with a yellow band and then with a band of orange leaves with dropped loops of beaded decoration, all on white china with heavy gold trim. This set includes the following: 7- 9 3/4" dinner plates 9 - 8 3/4" luncheon plates 10 - 7 3/4" open soups 9 - 5" nappies/fruit dishes 12 - 6 1/8" sides/bread and butters 2- cups and saucers Serving Pieces: 1- large platter 12 x 16" 1 smaller platter 8 ½ x 11 3/4" 1- oval serving bowl 10 x 8 1/4" 1- covered serving bowl 7 1.2" diameter of bowl 1 - creamer 5 1/2" handle- spout, 2" high 1 - handled sugar, ( no cover) 6" handle to handle and 2 1/4" high 1 - small oval serving dish 4 ¾ x 8" Included but not part of the actual count of 59 pieces are 9 extra saucers All this china is in mint condition, without lines, cracks or chips, several plates have minimal very faint utensil marks, most do not and are mint.
