FABULOUS HAVILAND LIMOGES*** CUP & SAUCER IN THE SCHLEIGER #39D PATTERN ****BEAUTIFUL MULTI-COLORED PINK ROSES * DOUBLE GOLD TRIM!!! EMAIL US AT THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING!!! This is a stunning Haviland Limoges tea cup & saucer in what I believe is the SCHLEIGER #39D pattern. The design is of singles & bouquets of colorful pink and grayish roses just under the gold rims of both the cup & saucer in several places. There is a double gold trim and brushed gold on the cup handle. Please look closely at the pattern to make sure it matches your pattern as there are many variants of this pattern that look a lot alike. The beautiful rose flowers are either wide open or partially opened buds. The colors are blended consisting mostly of multi-colored pinks touched with light blues, and grays. They are all nestled on a bed of green leaves with smaller ones branching out on climbing green vines. The cup and saucer both have a lot of rose pattern on both the outside and inside. There is as much pattern on the inside of the cup as there is on the outside which is unusual. ROSES!!! ROSES!!! ROSES!!! BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL ROSES!!! The set is very delicate, fine porcelain. The cup & saucer have a scalloped rim that is double trimmed in gold and has a raised beading on the inner rim that is covered in gold. The beautiful scalloped shape enhances its delicate beauty. I believe this set is on the Star blank. This pattern is very collectable, you will seldom find a prettier dainty set in this pattern. The beautiful set has outstanding colors of pinks, blues, grays and greens with a double gold trim. Colors in the photos are brighter than the actual item. The pattern is very colorful and a delight to the eye. This set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or flakes. The gold is in very good condition, there is very light stacking marks on the raised portion of the saucer but in my opinion nothing that detracts from its beauty. As with all antique china, there may be a factory dot or glaze skip, but nothing that takes away from the beauty of the pieces. I normally sell items from sets and most Haviland patterns have slight variations in the amount and placement of the pattern designs on the individual pieces making very few pieces in the same set identical. This means the piece you receive may or may not be just like the one in the photos, but it will be the same pattern from the same set and will be just as beautiful. This is a beautiful delicate tea cup & saucer. The cup measures approx. 3 1/2 inches wide, and 1 7/8 inches tall. The Saucer is approx. 5 1/2 inches across. THIS IS A STUNNING HAVILAND LIMOGES 39D TEA CUP & SAUCER WITH A BEAUTIFUL ROSE PATTERN WITH DOUBLE GOLD SO DON’T MISS IT!!! The marks on the bottoms of both pieces of this set is the over glazed Haviland and Co. over Limoges in red, and the green underglaze Haviland over France. The over glazed red mark is the Haviland mark #13. and the underglaze green mark is the Haviland mark #12 in the Collector’s Encyclopedia Of Limoges. These marks date this set back to between 1893 to 1930. This is a fabulous Haviland Limoges 39D cup & saucer and would make an excellent addition to your collection.
