6 Haviland Limoges Bread & Butter Plates Pink Blue Flower Schleiger 240-2 France Description: This listing is for a set of 6 Bread and Butter Plates from Haviland Limoges, France. These beautiful, fine china plates features Handpainted delicate Pink and Blue Flowers on a White base. Touches of Green and Yellow also accent the dainty flowers. The edges are scalloped, there is no gold on these plates. The plates measure 6" in diameter. The under base measures 3 7/8". The mark on the bottom of the bowl is Haviland France in green and Limoges in red. The Schleiger number is 240-2. These plates were acquired from a private estate and found while clearing the house. Little is known of these items prior to that acquisition. Though these pieces may have been used I do not see any evidence of wear other than a very small chip on the edge of one plate. I do not see scrapes or utensil marks. I see no cracks or grazing. I do see a couple of under the glaze dings. I will ship these items USPS within the United States. I welcome questions.
