***STUNNING HAVILAND LIMOGES HUGE AMERICAN BEAUTY PRETTY PINK ROSES WITH GREEN CHRISTMAS HOLLY & STUNNING DOUBLE GOLD TRIM***

This is one of the most beautiful Haviland Limoges pieces you will ever see and possibly the rarest of all Haviland patterns. This large charger or cabinet plate is the only large piece of Christmas Rose I have ever seen or owned. I had three small 6 inch dessert plates once and sold them for around $250 each and that was fifteen years ago!!! This platter is almost 13 inches across. This unusual blank with a double gold trim really sets off the beauty of this piece giving it a very elegant rich look. Notice the stunning raised detail in the porcelain around the edges with beautiful double gold accents on the inner and outer rims.

THIS IS THE ONLY PIECE OF CHRISTMAS ROSE I CURRENTLY OWN!!! *~*~* THIS ITEM IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AS SHOWN IN THE MANY PHOTOS!!!....

These pastel pink roses are bright and beautiful and the gold trim in excellent condition. COLORS MAY BE SLIGHTLY BRIGHTER THAN THE ACTUAL PLATE!!! Please be sure to look at the photos carefully to see how wonderful it is.

The plate is made of the finest Haviland Limoges Porcelain. This fine porcelain

The stunning plate is in excellent mint condition. ***ANY BRIGHT SPOTS ARE GLARE FROM THE CAMERA, NOT FLAWS OR IMPERFECTIONS. THE PIECE IS PERFECT***!!! It measures approximately 12 7/8 inches across and would make an excellent display piece!!! The pattern "HAS BEAUTIFUL PINK AMERICAN BEAUTY ROSES AROUND THE PLATE ENTWINED WITH BRIGHT GREEN HOLLY LEAVES AND BERRIES. THE GOLD TRIM SETS OFF THE BEAUTY OF THIS PIECE. IT IS A MUST HAVE FOR ANY SERIOUS COLLECTOR!!!"

The marks on the bottom of this piece are the over glazed Haviland and Co. over Limoges in red, and the green underglaze Haviland over France. The over glazed red mark is the Haviland mark #13. and the underglaze green mark is the Haviland mark #12 in the Collector’s Encyclopedia Of Limoges. These marks date this set back to between 1893 to 1930. .

The history of LIMOGES Porcelain is interesting, Limoges porcelain designates hard-paste porcelain produced by factories near the city of Limoges, France beginning in the late 1700s, but does not refer to a particular manufacturer. In 1841 Haviland decided to establish his own china factory in Limoges, France, taking advantage of the rich findings of kaolin (china clay) in the area as well as of the presence of local craftsmanship due to a long tradition in china manufacturing. The high quality clay gives the porcelain its strength and pure white color, one of the reasons why Limoges porcelain is so collectable.
