This cup and saucer is by Haviland Limoges in the Schleiger #72 pattern. The approximate date of manufacture of this pattern was from 1881 to 1931. On the bottom of both the cup and saucer there is the green Haviland France mark and the red Haviland & Co. Limoges mark. The cup measures approximately 4" in diameter. The saucer measures approximately 5 3/4" in diameter. It is decorated in floral swags and roses. There is a double gold border. It is in very good to excellent condition commensurate with age and use. There are no chips, cracks or mends. The gold is in good condition, with no apparent skips in the application (please see photos for further edification). There are 2 areas related to manufacture where there is minuscule china debris which was not cleaned off during production of the blanks. One is on the back of the saucer on the inside of the saucer base rim. The other is on the very edge of the saucer where it exists as a tiny bump but the gold application is not affected (see photos). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Please review the pictures as pictures are part of the description.
