This listing is for an antique Theodore Haviland Limoges France porcelain round serving tureen. This covered dish is gorgeous, with lush pink and lavender roses (with a touch of white in the middle) on a heavily scroll embossed blank 118. The lid handle and bowl handles are gold gilded. This tureen measures 11 7/8" inches long from handle to handle, 8 1/2" inches round without lid and 6 1/8" inches tall to the top of the handle. It is marked on the bottom with the Theodore Haviland (Theodore underlined) red mark P for circa 1903. This tureen is in excellent condition for being over 110 years old. The only issue I can note is a (possible manufacturing - firing) crack along the footed base that runs halfway around the base ( please see pic). This issue does not distract from the beauty of display or affect use of the bowl. There is no other damage to this tureen. There is little wear that I can note and the gold and decoration look vibrant and excellent. This makes an outstanding addition to any Limoges collection or service set. I have many other pieces in this pattern that I will be listing in case you are interested. I do accept returns if you are unhappy with your item for any reason. I just ask that it be returned in the original condition you received it in. Please contact me if you are unhappy for any reason. I strive very hard read more
