Hawaiian Artifact - Sinker Stone Up for auction is this Hawaiian sinker stone artifact.Sinker is smattered in coral (and a few remnant barnacles (?) or other small remanant sea life) from being underwater for a prolonged period of time. Measures approximately 3.2 inches in length by 3.5 inches in width, and weighs about 1 pound.Pecked groove runs lengthwise around sinker. This was difficult to photograph due to the nature of coral buildup on the stone, but we've done our best to represent it...The strongest areas to see the pecked groove are along the underside of the sinker, and on either end where it curves up to the top.
