Hawkeye Thimblers of Iowa Thimble For auction is a sterling silver thimble made especially for the Hawkeye Thimblers of Iowa in 1986. The Simons' trademark and "Sterling Silver" are visible in the apex. The wide plain band has an applied shield, showing some of the important products and monuments of Iowa. I can see an ear of corn, a hog, and the State Capitol building. The thimble is in unused, excellent condition. A similar picture can be seen in American Silver Thimbles by Gay Ann Rogers on page 108. Shipping, insurance and delivery confirmation will be $5.00. I ship in the United States only.
