This ornately decorated head vase referred to as the "Headache Lady" in David Barron's book entitled "Collecting Head Vases". She wears a lovely gown of antique lace in a delicate shade of pink and dark pink beaded trim - her head is adorned, where the opening of the vase is with a matching pink lace hat encrusted with pink glass jewels, Swarovski crystals and tiny pink beads. which look to have been hand stitched to decorate her outfit. Her elegant accessories include a necklace of vintage beads, jeweled earrings and a bead and crystal brooch. The attention to detail in her decoration is truly remarkable. It is likely that she is a one of a kind item, in pristine condition. There is no maker's mark, but the original label from 1963 is still intact on the bottom of the vase. She measures 5 1/2 inches tall and is in excellent condition, without any damage to he clothing, jewelry or accessories.
