WE APPRECIATE SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY ~ PLEASE ~ NO BIDS ACCEPTED FROM PEOPLE WITH (0) FEEDBACK HEART SHAPED ART NOUVEAU CAMEO PIN PENDANT EARRING SET Gold Filled, early Art Nouveau design elements, Beautiful face You are bidding on an extremely attractive cameo brooch/pendant in a heart/teardrop shaped gold filled setting with matching earrings. The cameo is carved with a lady facing to the right who has an unusually beautiful face. I just love the rare cameo that has a really pretty face. Most are so awkward and gawky looking and poorly carved. This one will not disappoint you. She is carved from shell by a master carver and is one of the more beautifully done faces. Just look at the detail in her hair, the classic aqualine nose and the pleasing expression on her face. The carving is bezel set in a delicate, well formed gold filled setting (signed 1/20 th , 12K gold filled) decorated with little heart shaped petals and a bow on the top with a flower blossom in the center. The back has an older safety clasp and a movable bail to be worn as a pendant. Pin and clasp are in good working condition. Accompanying the pin/pendant are a pair of matching screw back earrings. Pls see photos. The cameo measures 1 ½" tall by 1 3/8" wide. The earrings measure ¾" tall by 5/8" wide and are marked the same on the screw back ends. The set weighs 11 grams and is in excellent vintage condition. Needs cleaning but I will leave that up to the winner. If you love cameos, then this exceptionally lovely one is for you!
