Heathkit GR-21 FM Table Radio
GRA-21-1 "FM Stereo Converter Unit"
This is a listing for the Heathkit GR-21 FM Table Radio and the matching multiplex unit, which they call the "FM Stereo Converter Unit".The cases are very solid wood with a substantial walnut veneer. Each piece is about 15 1/4 wide, 8 1/2 tall and 6 deep. Cosmetics on both cases are fairly good, some damage seen to the wood in places. Grilles in good shape. All knobs original, and mechanically functioning. The radio works well, no grounding hum heard, tunes easily. I've done an a 3Mb AVI video of me tuning stations with only the internal antenna, it's if you want to see it. Note: The "magic eye" tuning indicator does not work, no idea if it's the tube or the circuit. And, when connected, the "FM Stereo Converter Unit" does play, volume and tone work, but it does not sound stereo to me, so I suspect it needs repair or tube replacement. These are heavy units! The raw (unboxed) weight for both is about 26.4 pounds. Total weight, boxed for shipping rounds up to 30 pounds. Any items that I sell which may be considered fragile will be packed appropriately. Domestic (US) shipments: I will add $2.00 handling fee to help pay for boxes, tape, packaging, cushioning if required and delivery confirmation fees. International Shipments: I will add $5.00 handling fee for shipping materials plus having to do customs/export forms and for standing in line at the Post Office. Payment must be made via PayPal within three (3) days of the end of the auction. I'm a nice guy, and I hate to say this stuff, but if you win the auction, I expect you to pay. This is not unreasonable. I've had way too many winning bidders decide they can't be botd to actually pay for an item! You have 3 days to pay, and I do report all UNPAID as early as is allowable by eBay and fully support the "unpaid strike" system. PLEASE don't bother bidding if you don't intend to pay! Sorry, no sales to zero feedback buyers, any bids from zero feedback buyers will be canceled and bidder will be blocked. The Fine Print: Terms and Conditions
Yes, that's me at the center of the online auction universe as we know it! Howdy, folks. I've been an eBayer for over 12 years now , going back to February of 1998, much longer than most on eBay. I'm a regular guy, I'm not a retailer or shop owner, I'm not based in some overseas location, and I treat folks the way I'd like to be treated myself. However, I gotta have fine print, so it is...
