is a very nice Heathkit tube checker, model IT-17. It checks an extensive number of tubes from the early 4-pin type of 1930s to nuvistors--judged from the socket types. It is working. I checked a known good 6L6 and photographed the test. I cleaned the surfaces, inside and out. I sprayed all contacts with contact cleaner and worked the controls back and forth. T are a couple of minor dings that show in the photos and I took a lot of pictures so you could be able to judge its condition. The roller is in very good shape. It rolls correctly in one direction; in the other I had to roll it from the inside so something is amiss. I have a $500 Heath TT-1A and the roller doesn't work so the data is now in booklet form. I recommend doing the same unless you're mechanically inclined. Guaranteed not to be dead on arrival.
